Pennington & Associates, Inc. (PAI) was formed in 1990 by the company’s owner and president Wendell Pennington with a goal of providing the environmental community with a variety of quality services.

PAI is a certified laboratory specializing in the collection, processing and analyzing of benthic macroinvertebrates, fish, algae and zooplankton. We provide our clients with data, data analysis as well as data interpretation.

Our full staff of professionals includes biologists and taxonomists with a wide range of disciplines and experience. Our staff includes taxonomists with multiple taxonomic certifications through the Society of Freshwater Science Certification Program and various state agencies.
PAI currently provides services to over 200 clients including federal, state and multiple private firms throughout the United States.
